LilyAnne's takes to the streets to support those on a night time to raise awareness of Mental Health and how people can access support locally.
We work alongside Hartlepool Town Pastors, Cleveland police, Hartlepool Council CCTV & Door staff from a number of venues across Hartlepool.
It's a project the team really enjoy and we feel the love from the community who come up and offer high fives and thanks for the work we do, while sharing information about their own mental health and seeking advice and information.
We engage within a wide variety of situations and have many positive chats with people who are struggling with their mental health, or to seek advice for a friend or family member.
Rather than using an approach where the people come to us we go to them, create community based relationship and build a trusting relationship with those who go on a night out regularly.
This work also enables us to engage and support members of our homeless communuty and the first steps of accessing support and the steps to becoming housed again.
